All Things Bridal

With extensive experience in hundreds of weddings, Sarah Mitchell can make your bridal makeup dreams a reality. Trust her expert skills to enhance your natural beauty and create a stunning look that reflects your unique style on your wedding day.

Your makeup will only look as beautiful as the skin underneath it. This guide is here to help you achieve smooth, glowing, and healthy skin so your makeup applies flawlessly and lasts all day.

6–12 Months Before Your Wedding: This is the perfect time to start building healthy skin habits. Book a consultation with an esthetician if you have concerns like acne, texture, or dark spots. Start a simple routine: cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF every day. Introduce new products slowly to avoid irritation. Stay consistent! This matters more than expensive products!

3–6 Months Before: Now we focus on maintaining and enhancing your glow. Continue your routine without constantly switching products. Consider monthly facials if your skin tolerates them. Add gentle exfoliation 1–2 times per week. Drink plenty of water and prioritize good sleep.

1 Month Before: At this stage, consistency is key. Do not try new skincare products. Keep your routine simple and hydrating. Schedule your last facial at least 2 weeks before the wedding. Avoid anything that could cause breakouts or irritation.

1 Week Before: Less is more as your big day approaches. Focus on hydration—both your skin and body. Avoid peels, extractions, or harsh treatments. Stick to your trusted routine only.

The Night Before: Prep your skin gently. Cleanse and moisturize as usual. Use a hydrating mask only if it’s something you’ve used before. Get a good night’s sleep.

Wedding Day: Let your makeup artist take care of you!  Arrive with a clean, fresh face. Avoid heavy oils unless instructed. Drink water and eat something light. Relax—you’re in good hands!

What to Avoid - Trying new products close to your wedding. Over-exfoliating or overusing active ingredients. Picking at your skin. Skipping sunscreen.

Final Note: Healthy skin is all about consistency, balance, and care. My goal is to enhance your natural beauty so you feel confident and radiant on your wedding day.

I enjoy spending trials connecting with my brides one-on-one before wedding day.
